Those Apple earbuds won't even properly work because they are TRRS. Only TRS headphones work on a focusrite.

Hello friend. I know this video is 3 years old, and maybe you're not active on youtube anymore, but I'm leaving here a question in hopes you answer it. I have a 44100hz interface (a pedal with usb interface - MVAVE Tank B) but Rocksmith only works with 48khz sampling, is there any solution today to this problem? If you know please help

For anyone having issues getting this to work my solution was to install the Windows 7/8 driver. I have a Scarlett 2i4 interface which when having the Windows 10/11 driver installed, rocksmith was picking up that I'm using a "Thunder bolt" driver which I'm not. I tried to force the "Focusrite USB ASIO" driver in the RS_ASIO .ini file but this wouldn't work. Simply put - Install the windows 7/8 focusrite driver (yes even if you're on w10 / w11). Once the older driver was installed everything just worked as Rocksmith was picking up the Focusrite USB ASIO driver. Rocksmith sounds great, and I was able to get the buffer down to 48 with really no detectable latency when playing.

I’m looking at this cause it’s…. Close. To what I’m about to try (in 5 minutes when I go back inside) - I’m trying to use the USB connection on my amp to use the amp as an interface for RS2014. I have a Line6 Spider V 20 MKII. It’s been labelled as a speaker at the moment (obviously I want an input and not an output) - so I’m hoping doing this may trick it (I’m sure it is like… ASIO compatible, or the drivers I downloaded for it were or something) Anyone got any insight? Omg mate you fixed my problem. My headphones weren’t registering through the front microphone input, but it works through the line output. Thank you sm! Was troubleshooting for hours trying to figure it out.

sound output worked but not the guitar, some how i have issues, i use Steinberg UR22C getting good input signal also it works in the game, but after imported the files the audio output doesnt work anymore :/

Danke für das Tutorial! Bei mir war das Problem, dass ich den zweiten Spieler über das Mikrofon laufen lassen musste und da den Input auf den 2. Input stellen musste. So ein gefummel, vorallem weil man das Game alle 2min neu starten muss für jede Änderung :D

Das hier unten eintragen: [Asio.Output] Driver=Voicemeeter Virtual ASIO BaseChannel=0 [Asio.Input.0] Driver=ASIO UX1 Channel=0 VoiceMeter öffnen: Hardware Inputs leer lassen Sicherstellen das A1 bei Voicemeeter VAIO angeschaltet ist. Bei Hardware Out: gewünschte Lautsprecher auswählen. Bei mir ( Lautsprecher HighDefinition Audio Device) Rocksmith starten und losrocken ;)

help me, when i do everything from the video, the ERROR SOUND INITIALIZATION error appears when i open rocksmith, and there is no sound :(, but when i uninstall rs asio, i can hear the game and the error does not appear, but i cant use my interface, :(

I have been trying to get this to work for what feels like months now and cant make it happen. The only way i can get rocksmith to load with RSasio is if i have it set to exclusive audio mode. But if i have it set to exclusive audio the g ame is extremely robotic and distorted and sounds like shit, Im going crazy here trying to figure this out i know this is an old video but if anyone sees this please help!
